This two-day symposium is focused on avian and small mammal topics and is designed for veterinarians, veterinary nurses, and students. Registration is still open for the event, which will include lectures and wet labs related to both avian and small mammal topics, with up to 12.5 CE credits available.<\/p>\n<p>The keynote speaker will be Endre S\u00f3s, DVM, PhD, ECZM, of the Budapest Zoo &amp; Botanical Garden in Hungary. His keynote lecture, entitled \u201cHungarian Heroes: Rescue and Conservation Programs of Hungarian Small Mammals,\u201d will be presented on Saturday evening. Other speakers include Dr. Peter Sakas, Dr. Steve Thompson, Dr. Kristen Hill-Thimmesch, Dr. Angela Lennox, Dr. Tracey Ritzman, Dr. Taylor Lewis, Rachel Yoquelet, RVT, Abigal Rosenbloom, RVT, Dr. Kimberly McMunn, Dr. Julia Becker, and Dr. Stephanie Moy.
