The Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine would like to share our sincere gratitude to Pat and Ed Sutarik for creating the Dr. Jeffrey A. Sutarik Memorial Wellness Lecture series in honor of their son, Dr. Jeffrey Sutarik, who was a member of the Purdue DVM Class of 2005. As part of this series, our college greatly benefited from four wellbeing lectures given on Tuesday, March 5 by the vice president of wellness at Mission Veterinary Partners, Karlene Belyea. Karlene shared several useful strategies to navigate our toughest emotions as well as tools to take advantage of our neuroplasticity. We also want to thank Karlene for spending the entire day with us, sharing her knowledge and expertise with our students, faculty, and staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
