This heightened risk necessitates a focused approach to early detection and intervention, which is where the Ultrasound Screenings comes into play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ultrasound technology is a non-invasive yet powerful tool in veterinary medicine. It enables the Medical Oncology team to examine the urinary system, identifying any abnormalities such as tumors. Early detection through ultrasound screenings is crucial. It opens the door to a wider range of treatment options, potentially lengthening remission times and extending the survival of our beloved canine patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Screening Details and Appointment Information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dates<\/strong>: Friday, April 19 and Friday, May 17 (an appointment is required to participate)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Eligibility<\/strong>: Beagles, Scottish Terriers, West Highland Terriers, and Shetland Sheepdogs aged six years and older<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Services<\/strong>: Urinary bladder ultrasound, blood, and urine sample collection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cost<\/strong>: $103, due at the time of the appointment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Schedule Your Appointment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For those interested in participating, appointments can be scheduled by calling <a href=\"tel:765-494-1107\">765-494-1107<\/a> and ask to speak with Joni or Emma in Medical Oncology regarding the Ultrasound Screening.
