The program will begin with a welcome and introductory remarks by Purdue Veterinary Medicine Dean Willie Reed.&nbsp; He will be followed by several special speakers addressing a range of topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201c40 years of Equine Surgery,\u201d presented by Dr. Steve Adams, professor of large animal surgery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cEquine Supplements,\u201d presented by Erin Wilson, of Nutrena<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cHorse-Proofing the Barn,\u201d presented by Dr. Amanda Farr, clinical assistant professor, Purdue University Veterinary Hospital Equine Field Service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201cNeck and Back Pain in the Horse,\u201d presented by Dr. Sarah Waxman, visiting assistant professor, Equine Field Service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The subsequent sessions to be held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 \u2013 8:00 p.m., will cover these additional topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>February 10:\u00a0 \u201cLaminitis: What\u2019s New?\u201d by Dr. Tim Lescun, associate professor of large animal surgery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>February 17:\u00a0 \u201cSinus and Guttural Pouch Disease,\u201d by Dr. Jan Hawkins, professor\/section head of large animal surgery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>February 24: \u201cMuscle Disease,\u201d by Dr. Stacy Tinkler, clinical associate professor of large animal internal medicine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>March 3:\u00a0\u201cWhen the Filters Fail: Kidney and Liver Disease,\u201d by Dr. Sandra Taylor, associate professor of large animal internal medicine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click here <a href=\"https:\/\/vet.purdue.edu\/ce\/equine-wellness.php\">for more information<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/web.cvent.com\/event\/6d86cb59-9497-48c9-b5fc-701dd04162ac\/summary?_ga=2.187169772.559019176.1606688558-1657661955.1559266353&amp;rp=00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000\">to register<\/a>.&nbsp;
