Make Your Mark
Support the College

Effective Monday, March 1, Josh White has joined Purdue Veterinary Medicine’s Web Team as senior web developer.  Working with the director of web communications, Wright Frazier, Josh will be responsible for developing websites for our public facing web presence, coding web application systems, and helping with everyone at PVM who needs a hand with their site.

Josh grew up in Asheville, N.C., where he worked as a web developer before coming to Purdue in 2010 for graduate studies in philosophy. After earning a PhD in 2016, Josh decided to return to web development rather than pursue an academic career. He joined the Purdue Libraries in 2017 as a web applications developer, where he built a variety of web sites and applications in support of the Libraries’ teaching, research, and engagement efforts.

Josh lives in West Lafayette with his wife and three children. He enjoys reading (particularly the classics and philosophy), photography, tinkering with technology and audio/video equipment, biking, and playing video games.

Josh can be reached via e-mail at white167@purdue.edu.  Feel free to drop him a note to help extend a warm PVM welcome!
