Boiler Vet Club Alpha Chapter - Crispus Attucks

On December 6, 2010, the Alpha Chapter of the Boiler Vet Club was founded at Crispus Attucks Medical Magnet High School, an Indianapolis Public School.  Dean Willie Reed, Dr. Sandy Amass, Dr. Kauline Cipriani, Mr. Wesley Campbell, Mr. Thad Blossom, and Mr. Sam Royer visited Crispus Attucks to commemorate the event. Club members were presented with a membership packet, a Purdue Veterinary Medicine t-shirt and a stethoscope. A large Purdue Veterinary Medicine flag was also presented to the school.

Dean Reed presented school principal Robert Faulkens with a plaque inscribed with the Purdue Veterinary Medicine logo and "Be it known that on this day of December 6, 2010, the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine founded the Alpha Chapter of the Boiler Vet Club at Crispus Attucks Medical Magnet High School to support the success of future veterinary medical professionals by increasing knowledge of the veterinary profession; promoting academic and life skills for professional success; and advancing diversity in the field of veterinary medicine."
