Our Mission

We utilize comparative pathology as a tool for drug development and discovery in brain cancers and neurodegenerative diseases. With a focus on one health, we aim to unravel the framework of the blood-brain barrier using experimental and molecular pathology. Our primary goal is effective drug delivery, survivorship, and improved quality of life for patients and their families.

Our research is squarely focused on improving survival and quality of life in humans and animals diagnosed with metastatic brain cancer or neurodegenerative diseases. We use a clinically relevant scientific approach and a multidisciplinary, collaborative, and international scientific team to achieve our scientific goals.
