Welcome to the Comparative Blood-Brain Barrier Laboratory

The research in Dr. Tiffany Lyle’s lab focuses on molecular characterization of the blood-brain barrier in disease, with primary focus on the formation of the blood-tumor barrier in brain metastases of lung cancer.  Our mission is to increase uptake of cytotoxic chemotherapeutic compounds by molecular manipulation of various components of the blood-brain barrier in brain metastatic disease.
