General education sessions will be conducted in a live, synchronous format. Conference sessions will count as in-person continuing education (CE) for licensing requirements, but they will be hosted virtually using our conference app.
Attendees will receive an email with instructions on how to download Whova, the conference app after they register. The schedule, conference sessions, lecture proceedings, and the exhibit hall will be accessed directly from the conference app. The app will allow attendees to schedule and track conference sessions, interact with speakers, network with fellow attendees, and access conference materials all from your cell phone! A desktop version will also be available for viewing conference sessions from your computer. A Whova tutorial is available using the button above.
A continuing education form will be made available, and instructions for self-tracking CE will be sent to attendees to access using their registration profile in Cvent.
As a bonus, all paid registrants will receive a coupon code to access up to five additional hours of CE through our online course catalog – that’s $200 value! Instructions to access the online modules will be made available in August.
One CE credit is offered for each 50 minute session of lecture. Attendees can earn up to 24 hours of continuing education at the 2020 Purdue Veterinary Conference. It is your responsibility to document which sessions you attend and the number of hours you receive. To facilitate this, you will find a form to use in your conference program.
