Purdue Veterinary Conference Attendee Information

Sessions will be conducted in a live and in person allowing attendees to earn up to 23 continuing education credits with tracks including Equine, Exotics, Farm Animal, Shelter Medicine, Small Animal, and Veterinary Nursing.

Conference sessions will count as in-person continuing education (CE) for licensing requirements.

Attendees will receive an email with instructions on how to download Whova, the conference app after they register. The schedule, conference sessions, lecture proceedings, and the exhibit hall features can be accessed directly from the conference app. The app will allow attendees to schedule and track conference sessions, interact with speakers, network with fellow attendees, and access conference materials all from your cell phone! A Whova tutorial is available using the button above.

A continuing education form will be made available, and instructions for self-tracking CE will be sent to attendees to access using their registration profile in Cvent.


We have negotiated rates for our conference attendees with local hotels. These are within close proximity to the Purdue University Campus. 

We recommend making your hotel reservation as soon as possible.

The newly renovated Union Club Hotel is conveniently located on campus and connected to the Purdue Memorial Union. Parking is at the Grant Street Parking Garage at a daily rate at $10/day.

Continuing Education

CE Opportunities and Proof of Attendance

One CE credit is offered for each 50-minute session of lecture. Attendees can earn up to 23 hours of continuing education at the 2022 Purdue Veterinary Conference. It is your responsibility to document which sessions you attend and the number of hours you receive.

Please visit the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency for information regarding Continuing Education requirements.

Indiana Veterinarians are required to have completed forty (40) hours of continuing education acquired between October 15, 2021 and October 15, 2023. Veterinary Licenses expire on October 15 of odd numbered years. The next renewal date is OCTOBER 15, 2023.

Indiana Registered Veterinary Technicians are required to have completed sixteen (16) hours of continuing education acquired after January 1, 2022. Veterinary Technician Registrations expire on January 1 of even numbered years. The next renewal date is JANUARY 1, 2024

Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians licensed in other states should check their own requirements.
