  • Students participate in care and treatment of patients in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital through clinic rotations
  • Clinical experiences involve all common domestic animal species: dog, cat, cattle, horse and laboratory animals
  • The AS Degree courses are administered and taught within the School of Veterinary Medicine

**SPLIT SUMMER Session 1: first 7.5 weeks. Session 2: second 7.5 weeks. Half the students will be in summer courses while the other half are on required externship. The two groups will reverse for the second session. A six-week externship may be combined with a half-week vacation.
