Animal Veterinary Protocol Technologist (Job Number: 1402139)
Responsible for overseeing care and use of the teaching animals in the Veterinary Clinical Sciences department. Will supervise student care of teaching animals and instruct students regarding proper animal care. Ensures compliance with USDA (United State Department of Agriculture) and Purdue Animal Care and Use Committee (PACUC) protocols by monitoring the use of each teaching animal and approving/denying requested uses consistent with approved USDA/PACUC protocols. Will be responsible for communication with requesting parties approvals/denials of requests in a professional manner, and defend those decisions when necessary. Will make independent decisions regarding animal's health and welfare. Arrange for veterinary care for teaching animals as needed. Maintains accurate records on teaching animals.

Laboratory Technician VII (Job Number: 1402012)
Perform laboratory work to include cell culture, proliferation assays, western blot, and other cellular and molecular biology assays. Maintain equipment, reagents, and lab supplies. Maintain regulatory compliance, lab safety, and REM compliance. Process animal samples and oversee students working in the lab. Train students to use equipment.
Account Clerk IV (Job Number: 1402030)
Provides purchasing services in the College of Veterinary Medicine's Procurement Center with a primary focus on supporting VCS, VAD, CPB and the Center for Comparative Translational Research (CCTR). Maintain invoice reconciliations within Ariba to ensure timely payment to vendors. Reconcile purchasing cards monthly. Work closely with the building receiving clerk on Ariba processing for orders. Provide backup support for other procurement center staff, as needed.
