FROM: Applications & Integrations Course Coordinators (Drs. Adams, Messick, Salisbury, Bill)
DATE: 11/30/2007
SUBJECT: Tutor volunteers needed for Applications & Integrations courses
We are organizing the Applications & Integrations courses for the freshman (VM 530) and sophomore class (VM 550) for the Spring Semester. We will need tutors (small group facilitators) for the freshman course only. The freshman course (VM 530) meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:30 -3:20 pm. We have divided the semester into three modules to make it easier for faculty to tutor (see sign up sheet below for dates). Tutors may volunteer for 1, 2 or 3 modules. You may split a module with another individual to share a tutor group if you cannot tutor the entire module.
For the sophomore course, we only need volunteers to be examiners for the final oral exams. This is a scripted exam and you are given specific instructions on how to give the exams.
We appreciate your willingness to serve as a tutor. Please complete the form below and return it to Larry Adams no later than Friday, December 7, 2007. If you have any questions or need more information, please contact any of us:
