Spring Coats Mark Milestone for PVM Juniors

April 19, 2013

Members of the DVM Class of 2014 got one of the most important coats of their lives Monday night (4/15) during the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine’s White Coat Ceremony.  The annual ceremony for members of the DVM junior class marks their entry into the clinical phase of their veterinary education.  The tradition has become a very popular component of the annual Purdue Veterinary Medicine Honors and Awards Banquet, with families coming from across the country to witness their daughters and sons receive their white coats.  Sponsored by Hill’s Pet Nutrition and Elanco Animal Health, the PVM White Coat Ceremony has been held every year for the past 12 years.
