Pet Tribute Garden
The Dolores McCall Pet Tribute Garden, located near the entrance to the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine’s Small Animal Hospital, provides an opportunity for you to honor the human-animal bond and pay tribute to your animal companions with a permanent legacy.

We invite you to commemorate a beloved pet within the garden with a plaque featuring personal words of tribute honoring the special relationships you share with your pet(s).

Especially designed for caregivers and pets, the Dolores McCall Pet Tribute Garden provides a peaceful walkway of reflection surrounded by trees, plants and boulders. A wrought iron trellis denotes the entryway into the garden while a gravel path leads to a central area that contains a four-sided, six-foot brick monument. Each side of the monument will display personalized bronze plaques in three different sizes. Life-size bronze statues of pets may also be created as a tribute (limited supply).

The inspiration for the Dolores McCall Pet Tribute Garden came from the School of Veterinary Medicine Class of 1972. The class wanted to create a place of reverence and honor for all creatures touched by the human-animal bond.
