Education and Training

Education and Training

Translational biomedical research is by nature multidisciplinary and, therefore, there are no universal translational research (TR) educational programs that are suitable for all members of the translational research team and all stages of the transitional trajectory. The Indiana CTSI facilitates Education and Training programs including education, training, career development, and mentoring for students, staff, fellows and faculty to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical and translational research. These programs are available for CTSI-Purdue members, but are often tailored towards Indiana University.

Beyond the traditional research training opportunities at Purdue University, several programs supporting pre-clinical and clinical comparative translational animal research are available on the West Lafayette campus:

These programs support the education and experience needed to ensure a continuous pipeline of highly qualified and successful clinical and translational science researchers in the fields of human and veterinary medicine.
