Overview of Research

Immunology and Hematopoiesis
    I am interested in studying trafficking, differentiation, and effector function of immune cells and their progenitor cells. Current studies in the lab include:

  1. Mucosal versus Systemic Immunity and Inflammation
  2. Functions of chemokines and chemokine receptors in immune cell trafficking
  3. Trafficking and development of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells
  4. FoxP3+ regulatory T cells in health and diseases (autoimmune diseases and cancer)
  5. Follicular helper T cells in regulation of B cell responses
  6. Migration and function of Th17 cells
