Golf Outing Supports IAHF
A beautiful sunny day, albeit a very warm one, greeted golfers who turned-out in force for the Purdue Veterinary Medicine / Indiana Animal Health Foundation (IAHF) golf outing, which kicked-off the Fall Conference week at Purdue University. The outing was held on the Ackerman Golf Course at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex. Close to 70 golfers paired-up in foursomes for the modified Florida scramble tournament, which raises funds for IAHF scholarships for veterinary students. Golfers could participate in the “Class Division” for teams consisting of four players from the same Purdue Veterinary Medicine class year, or the “Open Division” for teams of any combination of four players. After a BBQ lunch, the golfers fanned out on the course for a shotgun start at 12:30, and enjoyed some friendly competition before reconvening at the Voinoff Pavilion for refreshments and the awards ceremony.
